Consumer Sentiment Plunges in December

Its.all.about.Demographics | Dec 7, 2012 10:15 AM ET Hmmm ... I wonder if the American consumer is starting to wake up and smell the coffee? Too bad - it`s just in time for the Christmas retail season. Lucky he voted for Obama - at least he`ll feel good about his anxiety levels.

Patriot2001 | Dec 7, 2012 10:15 AM ET Whhaaaatttttt ???????? Are people losing faith in that little monkey in the Whitehouse ? Say it ain`t so....

Yellowfin | Dec 7, 2012 10:19 AM ET This is the only thing that has been reported that is true and accurate. Wait until January when true unemployment numbers are revised. Get ready for 10% unemployment again by next spring.

Smitty68 | Dec 7, 2012 10:20 AM ET We think it is reasonable for this idiot to CUT THE SPENDING and then figure out what the SHORTFALL IS AT THAT POINT and then RAISE TAXES as required. THAT WOULD BE GOOD FOR THE COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!! Is that not what you do with your own budgets at home or at business when economic challenges exist - this is your budget as well - why would anybody accept throwing more money down a black mismanaged hole - I don`t get it

720MP | Dec 7, 2012 10:23 AM ET people lie on surveys all the time, they probably had 20 percent of the people they talked to from Hostess Bakery, move on

Smitty68 | Dec 7, 2012 10:24 AM ET Under Morsi, Things are Getting Weird in Egypt - Wierd - Morsi and Oblama are the same you ain`t seen nuthin yet - 1/2 the country wanted this now you have got it - now thats wierd

justdefacts | Dec 7, 2012 10:26 AM ET What do you expect when our right-wing lying fear-mongering Media keeps engaging in fear-mongering about such HOAX as "Fiscal Cliff"? just think what a HOAX this Fiscal Cliff is, what TRUE ENEMY within Republicans and the right-wing lying Media are that their only answer to this so called Fiscal Cliff, which means to reduce the Deficits, is to KILL American People which would be the result of "Entitlement Cuts" cutting health care available via Medicare. So just think about, they are not calling for: 1- Taxing Rich such as Wall Street bankers that get $40-Million per Year more. Or having the Rich at least pay same FICA Taxes as Middle class. 2- Cut our Gargantuan Military. Such as NO MORE FREE Military for Israel, Germany, South Korea, Turkey, etc.

justdefacts | Dec 7, 2012 10:27 AM ET 3- End the Afghan War. Hek they have even started hyping the Syria War. 4- Switch to Government run Universal Socialized health care (NHS), which would give health care to all American People while CUTTING health care spending by 50%, and these INCREDIBLE FACTS are why ALL Conservative parties in Europe, Canada, Australia, including Israel the beloved Nation of Republican lunatics, etc. are all 100% for their NHS. This Step alone will cut health care spending (Deficit) by about $1-Trillion per Year. etc. But instead they are calling for KILLING Americans, aka "Entitlement Cuts", aka cut health care due to Medicare. And further think, of above Steps which would convert the US Deficit into a $5-Trillion Surplus in 10 years, Democrats are only proposing a slight step regarding the 1st Ste

igor1732 | Dec 7, 2012 10:31 AM ET Its.all.about.Demographics I would surely have blamed it on Obama!!hahahahah They have a "derpession" right away after seeing his face on TV!!hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah Who would have wanted to shop if they see him every day on TV, moreover, they know they voted for him!!hahahahahahahah I just love it!!! igor1732 | Dec 7, 2012 10:32 AM ET Smitty68 you are taking it way too hard. It is all good for the country (except for cutting spending)!! Everybody know that by cutting spending you cutting demand for products, even guys in your trailer park know that you cannot do it!!
