DrSmith | Dec 11, 2012 04:39 PM ET The country`s tax policy shouldn`t be influenced by someone who, regardless of tax rates, has more money than he couldn`t ever spend. But, of course, according to the President, someone who makes over $250,000 a year is "rich," just like Buffett. Give me a break.

smkalberta | Dec 11, 2012 04:40 PM ET While I am a supporter of Obama and believe that most of the rich are simply crying foul to a system that was meant to prevent the rich from amassing all wealth. I have a solution to this little problem. If you are worth over 500 million, whether you give the money to charity, you`re kids or whomever. You are taxed 65% of that money. If someone gives away all the money they had right before they die. The estate should still be held to pay out whatever money was given away even before death. Make it so hard and impossible for rich people to avoid taxes at death. Piss on all you greedy a-holes and your need to f over the entire world so you can have more cash in you`re pockets.

If he isnā€™t going to pay taxes on his 35 billion dollars why does he think other who have far less than that should have to pay more?

fiscalone | Dec 11, 2012 04:45 PM ET Let`s start by including the value of the stuff he put in Foundations and trusts. Have those taxed at 55% with no exception. He is great to have others pay taxes but he avoids all taxes and has armies of lawyers and accountants planning how to avoid taxes. He has major tax cases pending. Why not concede the government is right and pay the taxes Warren?

Maybe the Gates Foundation should give all the donated money it has received (which was given to avoid taxes) to the Gov`t. Why do people have so much to say but have very little action that stand behind their words!!!!!!!!!!!!
